Daniel was born May 29, 2001 with Spina Befida and Hydrocephalus, later developed Scoliosis and Cystic Kidney. Daniel was treated for Scoliosis since he was 2. He just had surgery in Aug 2010 to put rods in his back to help him sit straight. He broke a rod and cracked a rib requiring the same surgery again 7 weeks later.

Hope was born June 19, 2007. She is a little miracle baby as doctors gave her a zero percent chance of surviving past birth. Hope was born with a brain defect, where the frontal part of her brain is fused together instead of divided. Her specific diagnosis is Holoprosencephaly, and she has other related health issues. Hope is three years old and has the sweetest spirit, an enduring smile, and a contagious laugh. She has a loving and protective brother, Seth, who is seven years old. Hope's life is evidence that prayer moves the hand of God. Hope is our special blessing and truly a gift from above.
